Drop-in – £12

Drop-in rate for our regular, in-person classes. Good option if you just want to get a feel for a class, or can not commit to practicing with us on a regular basis.

4 Class Pass – £40

This is a perfect class pass designed to help establish your regular practice. This pass should be used within 4 consecutive weeks and applies to all YTS in-person classes (yes, you can mix and match!). 

Can’t join the class in person?

Please let us know if you think you might miss a class – we are more than happy to record the session for you, so you can catch up at your own leisure.

Regular classes in more detail

DEAD - DON'T USE

DURATION: 1h    LOCATION: Fair City Jiu Jitsu

This yoga class offers the time to stretch and feel twice as long. We go through a few rounds of sun salutations to start with, followed by a sequence of asanas and finishing with a guided relaxation. This class gives particular emphasis to body alignment, principles of breath, and provides modifications for greater accessibility.

Hatha Flow

WHERE:           

Perth Martial Arts Club, 52-58 High Street (opposite visit Scotland and beside the job centre), Perth

DAY & TIME:  Every Thursday, 8 PM – 9 PM

COST: £12 drop-in; or enjoy as part of your block: £40 for 4 classes.

This yoga class offers the time to stretch and feel twice as long. Expect to work on your mobility,  range of motion and strength. The class concludes with a guided relaxation. This class gives particular emphasis to body alignment, principles of breath, modifications for greater accessibility provided – class open to all levels.

Yin/ Restorative Yoga

WHERE:   Fair City Jiu Jitsu, 16- 18 Princes Street, Perth

DAY & TIME:  Wednesdays, 7.20am – 8.05am

COST: £12 drop-in; or enjoy as part of your block: £40 for 4 classes, or included your membership: £50/month

Restorative yoga focuses on relaxation and deep rest. It involves holding supportive poses for extended periods. Expect using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks.

Online: Restorative yoga classes are ideal for online practice, as they allow you to create a comfortable and nurturing environment in your own space.

DAY & TIME:  Fridays, 5:50pm-6:35pm + social time afterwards

COST: £12 drop-in; block of 4 at £40

This is a fun, 45mins movement practice; we’ll have the opportuinty to breathe, stretch, strenthen, meditate and just feel better. Afterwards enjoy some social time in the nearby cafe. You are welcome to join in just for yoga, or just for social, or both! Variations will be provided to accommodate all levels.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and flowing style that synchronizes breath with movement. It offers a great variety of sequences and allows you to build strength, flexibility, and balance while maintaining a steady flow. Class suitable for all levels.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep or conscious relaxation, is a deeply relaxing and meditative practice that promotes physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. It is a systematic method of guided relaxation that allows you to enter a state of conscious awareness between wakefulness and sleep.

Yoga Nidra is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels. It can be particularly beneficial for those who have difficulty with traditional seated meditation or those seeking a practice that facilitates deep relaxation and stress reduction.

Online: Yoga Nidra classes are ideal for online practice, as they allow you to create a comfortable and nurturing environment in your own space.

Yoga for cyclists

This yoga class aims to dissolve tension created when cycling. We are not aiming at ‘wrapping our feet around our shoulders’ but rather regaining the ‘normal’ range of motion in the joints, in order to ride comfortably and efficiently. Areas of the main focus include: neck, shoulders, back, pelvis and legs (taking the joints through the full range motion). The intention of this class is to promote better performance when cycling and enhanced overall well-being. Suitable for all levels.

Yoga for jiu - jitsu

DURATION: 20-30mins    LOCATION: Fair City Jiu Jitsu

This yoga class offers the the opportunity to move in diverse ways and explore the range of motion. We target the common problem areas for this sport, but put the emphasis on the hips, shoulders and overall flexibility.

Open to the members of the FAIR CITY JIU JITSU CLUB only. 

Yoga for climbers

WHERE:    Perth College UHI 

DAY & TIME: Wednesdays 8.50 am – 9.50 am

This yoga class aims to dissolve tension created when climbing, promote length, and develop overall body strength. The aim is to minimise any muscular imbalances that can commonly occur in a climber’s body. The intention of the asanas (yoga poses) introduced during this class is not necessarily to directly promote climbing strength but to optimise the body for climbing. Areas of main interest: neck, back, arms, shoulders, palms, fingers, feet. Class also recommended to those that are desk-bound (shoulder opening).

Suitable for all levels.
